  Trevor A. Zandell

Mr. Zandell’s practice emphasizes litigation, primarily in the areas of real property, business and personal injury.  He has successfully represented businesses and individuals in a wide array of disputes, including: easements, commercial leases, construction (contractors and homeowners), fraud, business purchase and sales, insurance, purchase options, conversion of funds, well and septic, administrative (government), collections and foreclosures.  Mr. Zandell also represents landlords in eviction proceedings, also known as unlawful detainer.

Mr. Zandell employs an aggressive yet conscientious approach in representing his clients.  He works diligently to demonstrate to opposing parties that they will undertake considerable risk if they try disputes against his clients in an effort to leverage negotiated settlements.  Resolving his client’s disputes to their satisfaction in the shortest amount of time and in the most cost-effective manner is always Mr. Zandell’s goal.

Mr. Zandell has practiced in the Superior Courts of every county in Southwest Washington (other than Wahkiakum County), although the bulk of his cases have been in Lewis and Thurston Counties.  He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Thurston County Bar Association.  He is admitted to practice in all state courts and also in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington.  Mr. Zandell volunteers with United Way of Thurston County.

Mr. Zandell graduated summa cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law.  While in law school, he clerked for one of Spokane’s top real estate litigators, Joseph P. Delay, of Delay, Curran, Thompson, Pontarolo & Walker.

Mr. Zandell received his bachelor of art’s degree in political science with a minor in U.S. history from Central Washington University.  While in college, Mr. Zandell hosted a call-in radio talk program, fronted a rock band, and led local and university political parties.

Mr. Zandell was one of the top Lincoln-Douglass debaters at Decatur High School in Federal Way.  In his senior year he took top speaker in the State Tournament, 4A Class, and also advanced to the final round at the national forensics tournament in the student congress event.

In his spare time, Mr. Zandell enjoys outdoor sports such as running, biking, tennis, softball, hiking and camping.  He also enjoys music, politics and travel.
